Power

Communication is power.  Leverage the power appropriately.

Be Creative
It is bedtime, and a father attempts to lure his child away from the television and into the bedroom. Several verbal attempts land on deaf ears, as the electronic medium captivates the child in a state of retinal lock. What’s a father to do?

The refrigerator becomes the father’s toolbox. He carves out a hole in a large radish and pinches it onto his nose. He guts a head of red cabbage and places the floppy leaves on top of his head. He turns the wok and wooden spoon into a clanging kettle drum. Creatively, he captures the attention of his child, and happily, they march together in a home parade that leads to the bedroom and ends with a good night kiss. The creativity of the father successfully breaks through the clutter and his communication effort succeeds.

Salas Public Relations is all about breaking through the clutter and creatively communicating your message. Our toolbox is loaded.

Be Concise
Communicating concisely and creatively is the key to captivating interest and understanding. Brevity can reflect intellect. Loquaciousness can create confusion.

Be Collaborative
A particular message may not necessarily belong to a sole owner. Sometimes a chorus of messengers can attract more attention and build momentum. Of course, good orchestration is necessary to coordinate timing of message for maximum effectiveness.
